Remounting and Replacing Treads

Remounting and Replacing Treads

Many Bat-Caddy front and rear wheels come with replaceable treads. If the treads have worn through to the plastic, or if the rubber has become exercised and does not fit snug to the wheel they will need to be replaced.

When replacing or remounting the tread, its best to use an adhesive. We have found that ShoeGoo works best among consumer products.

It is best to apply the adhesive after the wheel has been mounted. Peel back the tread slightly and add a dollop of adhesive every 4"-6" between the tread and wheel hub.
